The live music sector is unplugged. Literally. It has been quiet on our stages since mid-March. All cultural events were prohibited to prevent the spread of the corona virus. There are also no summer festivals this year. The booming live music sector - from booking agent to back liner, from artist to venue manager - is bleeding. LIVE2020 offers no alternative to current and future support measures. These are and remain necessary. Above all, the fund aims to provide an addition, where necessary to make an additional contribution to colleagues severely affected in all areas by the current crisis.
